How Does the 2026 Acura ADX Compare to the Audi Q3 and BMW X1?

The Acura lineup is home to some of the market's finest and most trusted SUVs. The Acura ADX is a great example of why. Even with its smaller, subcompact design, it delivers a top-notch combination of features, performance, and luxury.

The Acura ADX isn't the only small SUV out there that can offer an excellent experience, though. Other new models like the Audi Q3 and BMW X1 are also equipped to deliver premium experiences that Pleasanton drivers love! The big question? Which new model actually offers you more? The team at Acura of Pleasanton would love to explore them all with you.

Designs & Interior

The market for subcompact SUVs is one of the most competitive there is, thanks to their convenient size and affordability. New model Acura ADX SUVs offer comfortable seating for up to five passengers with 18.1 cubic feet of cargo space, which can expand up to 95 cubic feet with the seats folded down.

The Audi Q3 and BMW X1 are similarly sized with five-seat interiors. The Audi Q3 offers nearly 50 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats folded down. The BMW X1, comparatively, provides up to 57.2 cubic feet of space with seats folded down. With their higher ground clearance, these new models also offer more versatility than you would find with something like a similarly-sized sedan.

Performance

The Acura ADX hits the road with a rock-solid 1.5-liter four-cylinder powertrain. Paired with a smooth-shifting CVT, it dishes out a responsive 190 horsepower with fuel economy up to 26 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Audi Q3, to its credit, can deliver a more robust 255 horsepower. The BMW X1, similarly, is equipped with a turbocharged powertrain and a 241-horsepower output, with a fuel economy of 25 miles per gallon on city streets and 34 miles per gallon on the highway.

Technology & Safety

The Acura ADX comes with a crisp and attractive 9-inch touchscreen and 10.2 inch digital display. These headline a robust infotainment suite, complete with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in Wi-Fi, and an optional 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen surround sound system.

The Audi Q3 and BMW X1 offer similar media spreads, albeit with larger screen options in the Audi Q3. At the same time, the Acura ADX's superior sound system provides more speaker coverage than its competitors.

All three models are expertly equipped, meanwhile, to keep you protected and safe on the road in the Bay Area. The Acura ADX protects you with standard automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warnings, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control, among other features.

Why is the New Acura ADX the Right SUV for You?

There are areas where the Audi Q3 and BMW X1 offer more than the Acura ADX. That's especially true in the performance department. At the same time, the amount of power you'll get with the Acura ADX is already more than enough for a subcompact SUV. Moreover? The "advantages" offered by its Audi and BMW competitors come at a steep cost. A top-of-the-line Acura ADX, with all the extras and trimmings, will cost you less than the base models of both the Audi Q3 and BMW X1.

If you'd like to learn more about the value of the Acura ADX, contact the sales team at Acura of Pleasanton and let us know. We work with drivers of all sorts and would love the opportunity to fill you in on our current new Acura lineup. Don't hesitate to reach out with your questions.
